About Fooditarian

Hi there! My name is Robin and I am the baker/food blogger behind Fooditarian Bakery and Fooditarian Ventures in Columbus, Ohio. 

 

For those who don't know me, I LOVE to eat. On the weekends you can find me searching out the best/newest place to grab brunch (my favorite meal). On vacations, I spend a ridiculous amount of time researching all of the best eateries in the location I will be visiting. You can always count on me for good suggestions, especially if breakfast pastries or brussels sprouts are involved 😊 This is how the Fooditarian Ventures blog came to be. Early in 2018, my boyfriend and mom started encouraging me to share my foodie finds and favorites with the world. In March 2018, I began documenting my food adventures on Instagram!

A few months later, after 8 long years in Payroll/HR, I was encouraged once again to pursue my true passions and hobbies full time. I've been baking for as long as I can remember. An outlet for my overwhelming sweet tooth, just for fun, out of boredom, or to relieve stress, baking has always been a hobby of mine. I'm known for sending sweet treats to work with my boyfriend on a regular basis and you can always count on me to bring the dessert to a gathering! The positive feedback I get on my baked goods just warms my heart! After realizing the corporate world just wasn't the right place for me, I took a HUGE leap and quit my job to pursue baking full-time. *Major props again to my incredibly supportive boyfriend who has been encouraging me to follow my dreams!* And so Fooditarian Bakery was born!
